RELEASE OF iLINC FOR MOODLE MAKES ONLINE LEARNING EASIER

iLinc for Moodle enables customers to save time by streamlining online course management and delivery
PHOENIX, Ariz. --- August 8, 2011 --- iLinc, a leading provider of web and video conferencing announced the release of iLinc for Moodle. The iLinc for Moodle integration enables Moodle users to schedule, manage and join iLinc virtual classroom sessions using the familiar Moodle interface.
“By providing tools to simplify integration with applications of this type, iLinc enables organizations to access powerful web conferencing services without changing existing processes,” said James Powers, president and CEO.
With the release of iLinc for Moodle, users will enjoy iLinc’s industry-leading web and videoconferencing solution while ensuring that related e-learning activities, such as session scheduling and joining, are centralized within the Moodle application.
Powers says many organizations depend on centralizing user activities via specific applications whether they are a CRM, ERP or LMS. “The iLinc integration strategy utilizes industry standard technologies and a rich set of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to empower organizations to leverage existing technology investments. These integrations help to accelerate business processes and reduce costs traditionally associated with managing disparate systems.”
Following the successful release of iLinc for Salesforce 2.6 in June of this year, iLinc for Moodle represents the latest in the suite of integrated offerings supported by iLinc. Additional integrated LMS platforms solutions include Blackboard and SumTotal.
