International Law Firm Chooses iLinc for Feature-Rich Web Conferencing That Provides Highest-Level AES Data Encryption

PHOENIX, Arizona (March 29, 2004) – iLinc Communications, Inc. (AMEX:ILC), one of the most feature-rich, secure and scalable Web conferencing software products available, announced that the international law firm, Greenberg Traurig LLP, has selected iLinc™ to fulfil its Web conferencing and collaboration needs through implementation of LearnLinc™ and MeetingLinc™.

Greenberg Traurig LLP is among a select group of international law firms with more than 1,000 attorneys. In the United States, the firm is ranked No. 12 as reported in The National Law Journal’s listing of the country’s largest law firms. Greenberg Traurig chose LearnLinc for online training, testing and assessment for its worldwide offices, supporting the firm’s new technology initiatives and ongoing technical and legal educational training. Greenberg Traurig will also be using LearnLinc’s testing and assessment option to ensure that its employees are fully educated and comfortable with new technology and devices as they are implemented at the international law firm.

For internal communications and meetings, the firm is implementing MeetingLinc for general communications among its 24 offices located worldwide. MeetingLinc will be used for general meetings and communications and as needs arise on a client basis.

Greenberg Traurig has chosen to install version 7.3 of iLinc because of its unique combination of AES data encryption, SSL, and the extra control associated with a solution that can reside inside of an organization’s network. AES data encryption is the standard adopted by the U.S. government as the highest available level of encryption security. By choosing this solution, which was first to market from iLinc, Greenberg Traurig is able to own the software on their servers, behind their own secure firewalls, with the ability to add distributed servers and redundancy and to allow the deployment to grow as needed.
